How to use this directory
This is a starting directory, not a live list of open applications. The sources were researched for this edition dated 24 September 2026. Verify the current application window, geographical coverage, implementing agency, sanction conditions and available budget directly. Being a Producer Company does not automatically qualify an applicant, and incorporation should not be sold on a promise of subsidy.
Formation and promotion of 10,000 FPOs — SFAC
Purpose: formation, capacity building and support under the central programme. Route: check the implementing agency/CBBO and SFAC operational guidelines. Eligibility and assistance depend on admission to the programme and component-specific requirements. Prepare incorporation and member records, producer evidence, business plan, capital receipts and audited information as required. Management support, equity support and credit guarantees are distinct components; a guarantee is not a cash grant to the FPO. Confirm the current guideline and whether the company is within the supported cohort.
Agriculture Infrastructure Fund
Purpose: financing eligible post-harvest and community farming infrastructure. FPOs are among the eligible applicant categories, but the project, lender assessment and scheme conditions matter. Prepare a DPR, quotations, site documents, permissions, funding plan and repayment projections. Check the current sanction/disbursement window, eligible project list and conditions for interest support or guarantee. Historical programme periods do not establish that new applications remain open in September 2026.
PMFME — group/common infrastructure
Purpose: support qualifying micro-food-processing and common infrastructure proposals. FPO applications require project and scheme eligibility, State nodal routing where applicable, a viable DPR, member/group details, premises, bank appraisal and own contribution. Check the common-use conditions and current application window with the State nodal agency. Convergence with another scheme must follow both sets of rules; do not claim the same eligible cost twice without an expressly permitted structure.
NABARD and market access
NABARD producer-organisation support may combine institution building, credit facilitation, capacity building and market linkage through specific programmes or partners. Ask the regional office which current route fits the company; it is not a universal direct grant. e-NAM is a market-access platform: assess onboarding, commodity/mandi availability, quality and settlement arrangements. Classify it as a service opportunity, not a subsidy. State agriculture, horticulture and food-processing programmes require a separate State-specific search.
Application and post-sanction controls
Make an eligibility memo with the exact guideline version, project cost, eligible cost, applicant contribution, lender contribution and proposed support. Obtain approvals and disclose other assistance. After sanction, maintain a separate project ledger, invoices, bank trail, procurement evidence and utilisation reports. Record milestones and clawback conditions. Recognise grants in the accounts using the applicable framework; a sanction letter is not unrestricted income.
Example: For a ₹20 lakh grading project, list quotations, land/premises rights, licences, member throughput and buyer evidence before approaching the lender. Record proposed assistance as conditional until eligibility and sanction are confirmed. If two schemes appear relevant, obtain written confirmation of permissible convergence before including both in the finance plan.
